  • Arthritis Exercise is typically held twice a week. The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class by Carol Sheldon is a program developed by physical therapists to address pain, fatigue and decreased strength that often accompany the disease. The low-impact class may be taken either standing or sitting, whichever is most comfortable. - sponsored by Attorney Jim Little.

  • Leisure-time and education for seniors at the Silverton Senior Center are fun activity classes that include making cookbook recipes, doing photo activities, scrapbooking, crafts of all kinds, soap carving, music such as guitar and ukulele lessons, going on local trips, bus travels, local event participation, cruises, networking with other members, working computers including math, writing, shooting videos, connecting on social networks, doing video interviews, learning stage production and archiving, dealing with smart phone and tablet devices, learning Spanish, building a family tree with genealogy programs, authoring stories and transcribing interivews... and games.
